Hypothesis: If students who live in the local area surrounding university have incentives and motivations to walk to university, they will spend more time per week walking to/from university.
Creating an app is the intent in helping develop long term solutions to this issue surrounding transport.
Finding a way to encourage university students to make walking an option for them to get to university obviously came with a few challenges for our group. A few of our problematic areas were the number of people driving to work when walking could be an option, congestion into the city through the suburbs, time to get to and from university.
