
Allana: Born in New Plymouth in the Taranaki region, a region known for mountain activities and surfing which she participated in frequently growing up. The first interest in pursuing art was in high school, then moving forward to branching into Graphic Design at Auckland University of Technology. Using this time to develop a wider scope and understanding for visual arts, Allana’s focus is on how to use the design media in order to create business solutions. Seeing visual problems realised and solved is what drives her, and she thrives on the creative environment, entertaining the possibility of new ideas to be discovered. Team events such as hiking and running are where Allana feels the most at home outside of the arts in Auckland.

Nicole:
The first 18 years of Nicole’s life was spent in a small town in the Waikato called Cambridge. Nicole’s interest in photography, art and design is what lead her to looking for a University to continue her studies at a tertiary level. Moving to Auckland in early 2017 to study her assumed passion in Communication Design. After a semester at AUT she realised she had made the right decision. Nicole’s interests include watching films, crafting, dining out, and exploring her new home Auckland.

Charlotte:
Charlotte was born and raised in Auckland. She first found her passion for photography and design in Year 12 at high school. Ever since, her passion has grown and she continues to explore it through university. Aside from design, Charlotte also loves spending time outdoors and doing anything from tramping to relaxing at the beach.
Taiki:

Taiki was grew up in Kobe and Osaka, in Kansai region of Japan. He came to New Zealand in 2011 after graduating in jr high school in Japan. Taiki grew up in an environment that touched art and sought the path to art because his uncle was a painter. Taiki studied photography in high school, he was interested in design, especially in film. He has studied at UNITEC, MEDIA DESIGN SCHOOL because wanted to learn from the basics. When he study basic skill he thought to learn about academic knowledge that why he chose to study AUT. Taiki’s interests include watching anime, youtube, movie , editing videos, hanging out with my friends, and play video games.

Fia:
Fia is a proud half cast Samoan, German. She was born and raised in South Auckland. She started learning photography, film and design at Epsom Girls Grammar School. From there, she grew a lot as a young creative taking photos at weddings, birthdays, big events that has given her a huge social media platform. A lot of what she has learnt has come out of what she’s been taught at AUT studying Coms Design and for that she’s very grateful. Outside the creative world, Fia loves spending time outdoors with the people she loves most.
